in Taiwan we have a fruit called the "budda fruit" (well if you translate it it's just 'buddha' but it's a fruit)
anyway, they crossbred it with pineapple to make a hybrid called 'pineapple buddha fruit' which is mad awesome & which I think might quite possibly be far superior to regular pineapple
