Revisionist history

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you!

Boundin. (Re-post, but for good reason)

Narrator:
Here's a story on how strange is life with its changes and it happened not long ago.

On a high mountain plain where the sagebrush arranges a playground south of the snow, lived a lamb with a coat of remarkable sheen.

It would glint in the sunlight all sparkly and clean, such a source of great pride that it caused him to preen.

And he'd break out in high-steppin' dance.

He would dance for his neighbors across the way.

I must say that they found his dancin' enhancin', for they'd also join in the play.

PAUSE

Then one day...

*the lamb gets shaved, for his wool*

PAUSE

Then a-boundin' up the slope, came a great American Jackalope,
This sage of the sage, this rare hare of hope,
caused to pause and check out the lamb.

Jackalope
Hey, kid, why the mope?

Lamb
I used to be something, all covered with fluff, and I'd dance in the sunlight and show off my stuff. Then they hauled me away in a manner quite rough and sheared me and dumped me back here in the buff.

And if that's not enough, now my friends all laugh at me ‘cause they think I look ridiculous, funny and pink.

Narrator
Pink? Pink? Well, what's wrong with Pink? Seems you've got a pink kink in your think.
Does it matter what color? Well, that gets a nope, be it pink , purple or heliotrope.
Now sometimes you're up and sometimes you're down. When you find that you're down , well, just look around, you still got a body, good legs and fine feet, get your head in the right place and, hey, you're complete. Now as for the dancin', you can do more.
You can reach great heights in fact you can soar.
You just get a leg up and you slap it on down, and you'll find you're up in what's called "a bound." Bound, bound and rebound.

Bound and you're up right next to the sky.
And I think you can do it if you give it a try.
First, get a leg up, slap it on down.

PAUSE

So, every year, along about May, they'd load him up and haul him away.
And they'd shave him and dump him all naked and bare.
He learned to live with it, he didn't care.

He'd just bound, bound, bound and rebound.

Now in this world of ups and downs...

...so nice to know there are Jackalopes around.

Hearts don't actually look like this... or do they?

On friday night I went with my dad and step-mom to the Laura Cortese show in qualicum, and I can't believe I never noticed it before, shes cora's double, Its not even their looks, which are SIMILAR; but its their actions, attitude and their laugh, its the same!! It really freaked me out. it was a great show though, I met a guy I played with as a small child, and he's very nice.

Saturday I worked in the daytime atfer being really really really early. After that I went to the show at dover, which was absolutly amazing. I was BLOWN AWAY by everyone, but particularly Tessie. Her performance as andrea, was astounding. It was NOT Tessie up there at all, usually you see part of someone incorperated into the character, but with this one, it was all andrea. You know how I could tell? Usually, when I see tessie, onstage, or in real life, theres a FAINT buzzing of attraction at the back of my brain, and this is true with several people, and each one has different frequencies, does that make sesne? But when she was onstage as andrea, that buzzing did not exist. It had nothing to do with her clothes, cuz there was a buzzing when I saw her before/after the show, but onstage... woah. Glenn was really good as richard too, I love that character, he makes me happy. Rick and Spencer, and, in fact, everyone in the cast, matt, gill, etc. were hilarious in The first show. I enjoyed them all, "Jerry Finnegan's Sister" was sooooooooo cute! We met this girl who does lights for it, and she was awesome too. I loved the end... meet you in the driveway :) *girly giggle*

After the show, we walked to Nolans house and everyone got totally wasted. like, shane is so sick today, he was drinking lemon heart - dark rum, and was just terrible. I ws pretty drunk too. I feel bad for nolan, having to clean up this morning before his mum and dad get home is gunna be a bitch.

This is the beginning of the "these are the things I remember when I think of you" series. Today its geoff. When I think about geoff I remember:
~I remember the first time I met you - at arts alive, you were sitting behind alleah, all wrapped around her, and I thought to myself what a great feeling it must be to be surrounded in so much love
~I remmebr you in the gondoliers, singing and waring those awesome costumes
~I remember you coming to pick me up and drive me to/from rehearsal, or to and from other places
~I remember you learning the dance a cachucha hahaha :D
~I remmeber eating with you at white spot only to get our food and look over and see you pulling your onions off, which is what I was just doing, without realizing we were doing the same thing
~I remember coming to see chasing chester play at dover, and beiong so proud of you, like parents are when there kids are in elementry school plays, they see potenial!
~I remember playing video games with you
~I remember wathing those war movies, band of brothers... we never finished them
~I remember going downtown with you and watching the moon rise
~I remember what happened after we left downtown, and realized that there was nowhere else to go, Timmys and downtown, late at night.... that was fun too
~I remember getting pizza with you and always sharing cuz we have the same favourite, pineapple and feta cheese...

these are the things I remember when I think of you

If yo would like to know what I remember when I think of you, send your name, address, and credit card information to me. Or, comment!

Hey everyone:
megs - youre brilliant, you can always make me laugh, even when I'm down in the dumps about something
Laura M - wow, so amazingly talented, but what I really love about you is the way you think about other people in relation to you. Everything seems fresh and neat when its with you
Barbara - very multi-faceted, you can always surprise me with what youre thinking about or talking about now! You really care about your friends, and express it in creative, non-standard ways :P
Cora - What can't I say? youre beautiful, talented, and an amazing friend. someone I want to keep in my life for as long as possible
Llowyn - Unique, caring, talented, a great friend to have on my side
Tessie (Martha) - My sister. I could enumerate all the great things, but one of the best is that we dont need to talk to completely understand where the other one is coming from.
Brianna - like a hummingbird, Involved in so many things at once, shes always got some amazing things planned, but we connect really well when its just the two of us too.
Laura B - wow. spending time with you is always an inspiration. You represent most of the things i wish I was or wish I was better at.
Alleah - You live live to its fullest, if there was ever someone to embody the word vivacious, it'd be you!
Alana - I love your smile, you light up a room.
Nicole - you are in and out of my life, but you brighten it up while youre there with your eccentric twists and your fun loving (sometimes :P) attitude
Shane - What to say? Shane's multitudinous virtues are dificult to slap onto a page. even if you cant always tell, he really does care, hard as he tries not to
Jenn - we connect. I dont even have to talk to you sometimes to tell what youre thinking. Other times you can keep stuff from me :P you care too. even when its hard
Ashley - So unique and creative. If anyone has the soul of an artist its her.
Stef - you are another one of those people I wish I was more like. You always have something positive to say about people, and I really admire that.

I really love you guys. I'm sorry.

I want a lover I dont have to love - Bright eyes

I know theyre lyrics... read them anyways

I picked you out of a crowd and talked to you.

I said, "I like your shoes."
You said, "Thanks can I follow you?"
So it's up the stairs and out of view-
No prying eyes
I poured some wine
I asked your name, you asked the time...
Now it's two o'clock-
the club is closed and we're up the block
Your hands on me; I'm pressing hard against your jeans
Your tongue in my mouth, trying to keep the words from coming out
You didn't care to know who else may have been you before

I want a lover I don't have to love.
I want a girl who's too sad to give a fuck.
Where is the kid with the chemicals?
I thought he said to meet him here, but I'm not sure
I got the money if you've got the time

You said, "It feels good."
I said, "I'll give it a try."

Then my mind went dark-
we both forgot where your car was parked
Let's just take the train
I'll meet up with the band in the morning
Bad actors with bad habits
Some sad singers they just play tragic
and the phone's ringing and the van's leaving
Let's just keep touching; let's just keep, keep singing...

I want a lover I don't have to love
I want a boy who's so drunk he doesn't talk
Where is the kid with the chemicals
I got a hunger and I can't seem to get full
I need some meaning I can memorize
The kind I have always seems to slip my mind

But you..
But you...
you write
such pretty words
But life's no storybook
Love's an excuse to get hurt
and to hurt

Do you like to hurt?
I do, I do
then hurt me..
then hurt me...
then hurt me...

These are from the OC tonight, which was aweomse!!!

Feeling kinda desperate these days... Its a little scary.

Had my first day aat m job today. watched lots of videos and stuff :)

Burn baby burn... disco inferno!

SO tonight, after my multitudes of interviews and LAME-core singing lesson, in which I lost my voice, and couldnt do anything right, Tessie and I had a fantastic Disco-bath-bomb, bath in my tub. Well first we went into my Hot tub, but my dad said that it was too chloriney, so we had to go and have a shower, but I though - wouldnt it be neat if enstead of waiting in the cold to have a shower, we had a bath enstead, and I just got a bath bomb from my Interview at Lush, so hey *light bulb*, we got in the bath and the rest is history... Singing disco songs, discussing the weirdness of our friendship, and making plans for our house together.

"my feet look like beans.... no, bok choy"

I love my life sometimes

I went to the site of the crash today. Talked to Jeremy's dad. it was hard.

crystal cashmore won nanaimo Idol. Shane and sasha both sang really well, but didnt make it into the top 4. Stef mcG did make it into the top 4, and apparently "should" have won.

I feel really guilty. I'm thankful that I wasn't close with any of those people who died. I mean, Brady has lost, what, 5 people close to him? 3 suicides, a drug overdose, and now this. And all I can think Is thank god it wasn't shane, or nolan, or brady, or AJ or Tasha. I mean those are all people who knew them and could easily have been in a car with them, fuck it, I've driven in that car with that driver before, as well as I know, it could have been me.

Its so sad. These people had their whole lives in front of them, and now they don't. Its fucking stupid is what it is. Poor tash. What a thing to come home from New York to.

when you lose something you can't replace...

There was an accident on hammond bay last night. Totally preventable, drugs, alchohol and a lack of seatbelts. At least 3 people were killed, 2 seriously injured. complete hearsay, I have two names, both of people I know, not well, but people I've hung out with, or friends of friends. and the fact that there are 3 others... I'm so sorry.

I really miss theatre

Theatrical Logic

In is down, down is front
Out is up, up is back
Off is out, on is in
And of course-
Left is right and right is left
A drop shouldn't and a
Block and fall does neither
A prop doesn't and
A cove has no water
Tripping is OK
A running crew rarely gets anywhere
A purchase line buys you nothing
A trap will not catch anything
A gridiron has nothing to do with football
Strike is work (In fact a lot of work)
And a green room, thank god, usually isn't
Now that you're fully versed in Theatrical terms,
Break a leg.
But not really.

Chastity is a virtue. Promiscuity is much more fun.

Main Entry: chaste
Part of Speech: adjective
Definition: pure
Synonyms: austere, celibate, clean, continent, controlled, decent, decorous, elegant, frigid, immaculate, impotent, inexperienced, innocent, intemerate, maidenly, modest, monogamous, moral, neat, platonic, proper, prudish, quiet, refined, restrained, simple, spotless, stainless, subdued, unaffected, unblemished, uncontaminated, undefiled, unstained, unsullied, unwed, vestal, virginal, virtuous, wholesome

humm...
Main Entry: promiscuous
Part of Speech: adjective
Definition: sexual
Synonyms: abandoned, alley cat, bum, cheap, debauched, dissipated, dissolute, dog, easy mark, fast, for free, immoral, indiscriminate, lax, libertine, licentious, loose, musical beds, profligate, pushover, put out, run around, sex job, sleep around, slut, swinging, tramp, two-time, unbridled, unchaste, undiscriminating, unrestricted, wanton, wild

wow... some words in both of those are not very flattering. seems as though you can't win for trying....

audiobooks are underrated

Lots of crazy highjinks at the 90's party everyones costumes were amazing, like people being pogs, or sailor scouts or powerline, or goth or raver (HOT) got really high and drunk though, did some stupid things :P

saturday night we had the shakespeare party, which was rather uneventful, but fun nontheless. it was ncie to see llowyn again, I dont see him very often :) there was a serious him and cora vibe, I was amused, and used it to get something Ive been wanting.

sunday.... I dont remember.... I didnt work. I worked monday though, and then went out for coffee with martha, and then went to shanes.

Today I didnt work either, but just kinda took a slow day. went to marthas to watch movies, but got distractd with drew and she, and never ended up watching the movies! I guess thats it....

Absolution

I sing this song
With hope full well
you'll hear my tune
and know that I'm
keening,
pleading,
screaming with my mouth stapled shut
for you

I sing this song
with the expectation
and realization
I will be
silenced
strangled
suffocated all alone
with you

Sing my song
loudly
fully
strongly
when my voice has deflated
and my lungs collapse
sing for me
your song

- I wrote this

With influences/inspirations - muse - absolution (stole the title!), something I saw on a piece of art, by AJ, and the person about whom this is

I did't write this. Its called paper bag by orbit

Take my hands
Take my arms
Take my light
If you don't I'm going home

Tie my hands
Tie my tongue
The poison haze
It comes over me again

Yeah, the poison in my head
Would it make me brave
The poison in my veins
Could it make me clean

Take my toys
Take my friends
Shed my skin
You won't ever see again

REPEAT CHORUS

Yeah, the poison in my head
Would it make me brave
The poison in my brain
Could it make me sane

"Then look for me by moonlight/watch for me by mooonlight/I'll come to thee by moonlight, though hell should bar the way"

Work today was short. Short and tres bunk! I dislike it immensely. The people there are sweet, but the job sucks more then is imaginable. I am looking forward SO much to Disneyland and Coachella, even if it means not getting a sandwich or cigarettes for a long time. I have ravioli for tomorrow, Thats exciting. And Brady said he'd pay me. It might not happen, but I have my fingers crossed for money! lol

I'm tired. and bored. I've been very moody lately (like for the past month), I will snap at my friends and parents for no apparent reason, or be exctatic, or burst into tears. Its like PMS, except forever, or at least it seems that its been forever...

(***I dont want to get manic-depressive again, its the scariest thing in the world, not being able to control the way that you feel, overreacting to everything... I'm so scared***)

Focus

(oh, sweet black waves in the moonlight)

*whispers* I want...

*****************************************************************************

You just remember what your old pal said
Hun, you've got a friend in me
We stick together, we can see it through
'Cause you've got a friend in me

Some other folks might be
A little bit smarter than I am
Better and stronger too
Maybe
But none of them will ever love you
The way I do
Just me and you, babe

Sisters, sisters
There were never such devoted sisters,
Never had to have a chaperone, No sir,
I'm there to keep my eye on her
Caring, sharing
Every little thing that we are wearing
When a certain gentleman arrived from Rome
She wore the dress, and I stayed home
All kinds of weather, we stick together
The same in the rain and sun
Two different faces, but in tight places
We think and we act as one
Those who've seen us
Know that not a thing could come between us
Many men have tried to split us up, but no one can
Lord help the mister who comes between me and my sister
And Lord help the sister, who comes between me and my man

God help the mister that comes between me and my sister, and god help the sister that comes between me and my man!

so, party at shanes again last night. I didnt get up to any highjinks myself, and the people who did, probably want to post about this on their own blog... :P

Jean (Shanes mom) said shane and I should go out. I laughed... and felt a bit awkward....

I think, strange as it is (our relationship), martha is the closest thing I have to a sister. Its like, the whole, growing up together experience, that can never be simulated. She can be such a bitch (like when she was making cora faces at me last night! gah, could have killed her), and such a sweetheart, and I love her the same either way :) I mean, obviously, In some cases, thank gad we're not related ;) that would just be wrong :P .... "sisters? We're close!"

I have to work today, and then I'm hanging out with Brianna, doing the whole family dinner thing.

I really wish Gareth would talk to me. Even if he yells and says mean things, it would still be better than this constant avoidance, he won't even be in the same room as me if he can help it!

I'm really looking forward to living with Cora, then later with Martha... I hope we get the place in lantzville!!!!

P.S. OMG GUESS WHO GOT ADDED TO COACHELLA?!?!?!?!!? MADONNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm seeing madonna?!!!!???!!!?!?!!

My hororrscope: Focus all your attention on some projects that are near and dear to your heart. You've built up so much momentum that it would be a shame to waste it. Keep up your efforts and you'll see results.
I am currently: dry-mouthed
I am listening to: somebody waking up in the other room

But after work I went to stef's and we (me, stef, cora, drew, spencer, nick, kevin) watched Fight Club! having hands in other peoples pockets is nice :)

Tuesday I worked, then organized some of the things cora and I are going to have in our house from my moms.

Wednesday I worked, went to my voice lesson, and then got my hair cut.

Thursday I worked then I went to Laura's house. We had a delicious dinner, and then went crazy, and said really silly things. And dyed my hair. also watched Sweet Home Alabama :) (Yes you are under all the mangoes)

Friday (yesterday) I went to work and then Went to cora's house. We watched Domino and then took the dog for a walk.

Today (Saturday) I have Nanaimo Idol. Theres a $1000 cash prize, and that would be super, but its really just for fun! I'm singing "You really got a hold on me" by the Beatles. Its one of my favourite songs, and reminds me of so many people for so many different reasons!

ANyways Wish me luck!
